Magic Mirrors Signs

A glorious piece of English fairground history and a great tribute to the art form that developed around this genre. This hand painted large wooden framed metal plate 'Magic Mirrors' fun fair hoarding originated from the town of Nottingham and would have been originally created in the 1950's and possibly by one of the better artists from that era. I would like to think it could be attributed to A Barnes and son. It would have held pride of place at the front above the entrance to the hall of mirrors sideshow stall.
